这个把宇航飞船造成了时间机器的故事，好像不看第二部也不错，第一部的结尾就足够完美了。关于猩球的脑洞，第二部并没有比第一部开得更多，而是更深入地将末日未来的反战反核主题带出，最后的结局也是真的敢写，仿佛游戏打到了bad ending，“核平”的出处可能也来源于本片吧。由于开片出现了新男主，前半小时不得不让新男主先适应一下气候宜人的猩球，几乎原样复制了第一部七成的剧情：潜入——被抓——上刑——逃跑，比较无聊，唯一亮眼的部分是编导开始在猩球原样重现地球历史的部分，军事煽动-和平抗议可以连接到影片拍摄时的反越战背景，由此为本片的核平找到了合理的创作动机。拜核教基本没有跳脱当代人对未来的主要设想，有些唏嘘的是，现在看看，反而是70年代的文化主流语境，脑回路比较正常。
